With a capacity of over 2328 seats, the Apollo Victoria Theatre is one of the largest theatres in the West End. Unlike other auditoriums, the theatre is only across two levels: the Stalls, which has 1298 seats, and the Circle which has 1030.

The Apollo Victoria Theatre is only divided into the Stalls and the Circle which both offer extremely different views of the stage depending on where you choose to sit.
The Stalls
As the largest section of the theatre, the Apollo Victoria Theatre boasts a huge Stalls areas and has 1298 seats in total.
The Circle
Despite being slightly smaller than the Stalls, the Apollo Victoria Theatre still boasts over 1030 seats where you can enjoy a range of views.
Seats with best visibility
Considering that the Apollo Victoria has a large auditorium only split into the Stalls and the Circle, there are several seats with reduced visibility which can be at cheaper prices, notably towards the back of the Circle and at the front of the Stalls. There are also some incredibly priced seats.
- Premium Seats: if you are looking for premium seating, we recommend that you look for tickets in the centre of the Stalls or the front of the Circle, close to the balcony. The best seats in the house can be found in row K-T.
- Good Value for Money: if you are looking for good value for money, on the front row of the Stalls are sold as ‘day seats’; they are at a reduced price from 10am on the day of each performance but you must go to the box office to buy them in person.
- Discounted Seats: there are more reasonably priced tickets at the back of the Circle which have restricted viewing but are much cheaper.

- Train and Tube: The Apollo Victoria Theatre is just across from Victoria train station and underground station (Circle, District and Victoria Lines.
- Bus: Victoria Coach Station is also extremely close to the theatre; you can take bus lines 2, 36, 185, N2, N136. 24 and then walk 300 metres to the theatre. Neathouse Place Bus Stop is serviced by lines 2, 16, 36, 38, 52, 73, 170, 185, and 507
- Car: the theatre does not have its own car park. the closest car park to the theatre is the Victoria Station Car Park, the NCP Car Park in Semley Place and also the Q-Park Pimlico in Manchester Street.
Access
Getting there
For those who are travelling from London Victoria train station, then there is level access just a short walk away from the Vauxhall Bridge. If you prefer to use the Wilton Road entrance, then please be aware that this is not level access and has access via 4 steps.
The closest public car park, Q Park in Pimlico, is a 15 minute walk away from the theatre. The nearest car park with blue badge parking bays are in Grosvenor Gardens, Carlisle Place and also further along Wilton Road.
Inside the theatre
The Apollo Victoria Theatre aims to provide excellent service for access customers. There are access hosts who are there to help you move around the theatre and organise operation of the lifts. Please try to arrive early (30-45 minutes before) if you require an access lift as they cannot be used during the performance itself. Although the bar counters are at a low level, the Apollo Victoria Theatre provides seat service and can bring any drinks and snacks to your seat. The best seats for patrons with limited mobility are Rows A-F.
There are two wheelchair bays at either end of Row F in the Apollo Victoria Theatre. You can take the lift to these spaces from the foyer, which has level access form the Vauxhall Bridge Road entrance.
Alternatively, you are welcome to do a wheelchair transfer and wheelchairs can be stored for you by the Apollo Victoria Theatre staff.

For hearing impaired visitors
There are Introduction Loop Necklaced available for people who need to wear aid. Alternatively, there is the option of a headset, which amplifies the sound in the theatre and is also suitable for visitors who wear a hearing aid.

Apollo Victoria Theatre History
The Apollo Victoria Theatre boasts exquisite architecture, which was originally designed by architect Lewis and William Edward Trent in 1929 for Provincial Cinematograph Theatres. Its nautical themed interior with an art decor design and immense seating capacity render it particularly unique.
When it opened in 1930, The Apollo Victoria Theatre was originally a cinema and a variety theatre and its opening film was Old English, starring George Aril and based on the play by John Galsworthy.
In 1939, the Apollo Victoria Theatre was one of three London theatres to present a live relay of the Epsom Derby. During world war 2, the theatre closed from 1940-41 but the building somehow managed to survive the Blitz. After closing for 5 years from 1976, it then reopened as rock music venue and since 1981, it has been a popular theatre venue and an important elbelm in the West End theatre district. The theatre is now owned and operated by the Ambassador Theatre Group.
