42nd Street tells the story of a young dancer and her grand dream of making it as an actress in the world’s best-known musical theatre scene. It all begins when young Peggy Sawyer arrives in New York from her tiny home town, intent on making it big in show business. She’s late for her audition, but she will soon start working as a backup singer in the latest Broadway production.
We will discover Broadway through dance: the importance of the stars on the posters, the power of the producers, the love and betrayal that lie in wait backstage, the effort, the sacrifice... That will all change for Peggy when the leading actress is injured, and she is offered the chance to step into her shoes for just one day...
You will be able to enjoy such legendary songs as 42nd Street, We’re In The Money, Lullaby of Broadway, Shuffle Off To Buffalo or Dames and I Only Have Eyes For You.
