The Descent  

Whilst you plummet down London Dungeon’s authentic medieval lift, you will meet the lift jester, who will tell you a hilarious, gruesome story. Arrive at the docks of the River Thames… if you’re one of the lucky ones!

Guy Fawkes’ Gunpowder Plot

Remember, remember, the fifth of November… everyone knows Guy Fawkes, the iconic historical figure who blew up houses of parliament. Learn about one of the most phenomenal individuals of our time in the depths of the dungeons.

The Torture Chamber

Do you dare discover the London dungeon torture chamber? Do you dare risk being stretched on one of the many torture instruments? Then transport yourself to the 1600s and see what pain and punishment really looked like…

Jack the Ripper

Hailed as one of the most deadly and ominous murderers of all time, Jack the Ripper has made history with his gory tales of murder. Enjoy a drink at the Ten Bells Pub, where one of Jack the Ripper’s victims once drank.

How to get there

  • On Foot: located on the shores of the river Thames on the South Bank, just follow the signs to walk there.
  • Train: if you are travelling by train, then the London Dungeon is only a 4-5 minute walk away from Waterloo train station.  
  • Tube: Waterloo tube station is on the Northern, Bakerloo and Jubilee lines.  
  • Car: unfortunately there is not a car park located at the London Dungeon, however you can use the Q-park Westminster car park and you can enjoy 15% off discounts.
  • Coach: the London Dungeon can accommodate coaches to drop off and pick up for a limit of 20 minutes.

Access

Wheelchairs

If you are a wheelchair user, then the London Dungeon is fully accessible but please make a wheelchair booking online. There are two flights of stairs which are fully accessible and the London Dungeon admits 1 wheelchair user per hour.  

Carer’s Tickets

There are Carer’s Tickets available: bookings are subject to availability so please book other tickets in advance with a time slot and then you can collect your Carer’s Ticket.  

Hidden Disabilities

The London Dungeon is trained to recognise the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Lanyard and there are ear defenders available.  

Food and Drink

You can grab a bite to eat at the end of the tour at the Tavern. However, please note that consuming your own food on the tour is not allowed.

FAQ

How do I get to the London Dungeon?

If you are travelling by public transport, then the nearest train and tube station is Waterloo, which is 4-5 minutes away. You can also park in the Q-Park Westminster car park if you are travelling by car.

Where can I eat and drink?

You can eat at the Tavern, which is at the end of the tour.  

Can I bring my own food and drink?

No, you cannot bring your own food and drink onto the premises.  

Is the London Dungeon accessible?

Yes, it is fully accessible. There are two flights of stairs but it is fully accessible.  

How much is a standard ticket for the London Dungeon?

A standard ticket is £24 online and £30 up front.
