This summer sees the arrival straight from Broadway of the most upbeat musical of them all! On Your Feet! tells the story of Gloria and Emilio Estefan, a couple who fought to make their dreams come true and embarked on a passionate journey that took them all the way from Cuba to international success in just a few years.
Directed by Jerry Mitchell who has received awards for such musicals as Kinky Boots and Legally Blonde, this musical will be coming to the London Coliseum in a few months’ time, to tell us a story full of love. Following its highly successful première in Chicago in 2015 it has gone on to be a massive success in Broadway and it’s now on its way to London’s West End, fully intent on being a big hit here too.

On Your Feet! is the story of a musical life. It tells the story of how a couple of dreamers headed to the United States to try to succeed with their music all around the world. Behind the scenes: lots of work, many ups and downs, and major triumphs. It is the story of a passion, of how an internationally famous pop star made it to where she is now.
Gloria Estefan has won 26 Grammy awards, sold 100 million albums and has been an influence for many generations of artists, marking a before and after in Cuban music. All of this has been with the invaluable help of her husband, Emilio Estefan. Get ready to dance, because the soundtrack to this musical features songs like ‘Rhythm is Gonna Get You’, ‘Conga’, ‘Get On Your Feet’, ‘Don’t Want To Lose You Now’ and ‘1-2-3’.
How to get there
The address of the London Coliseum is St Martin’s Lane, London WC2N 4ES, really close to the different tube and train stations there are in the area. As it is perfectly reachable place from anywhere in the city by public transport, you won’t have any problems getting there, and you won’t need to use private transport.
By tube: There are up to four stations less than 7 minutes away on foot. These are Charing Cross, Leicester Square, Covent Garden and Embankment.
By rail: There are two stations close to the theatre. The closest one would be Charing Cross, a 5 minute walk away, but you can also use Waterloo, although you will have to walk for 20 minutes to get to the theatre.
By bus: you can get there with routes 3, 6, 9, 11, 12, 13, 15, 23, 24, 29, 53, 88, 91, 139, 159 and 176.
By car: remember that if you finally choose to drive to the theatre you can enjoy a 50% discount at Q-Park, just for being a theatre-goer (in Chinatown; Pimlico; Soho; Park Lane/Marble Arch; Trafalgar; Oxford Street; Burlington; Leicester Square).
Accessibility
The London Coliseum is a fully adapted venue for people with reduced mobility, and you will have no issues when accessing the theatre on a wheelchair or on a mobility scooter. There are adapted toilets on four of the theatre’s five floors, and two adapted lifts in perfect working order. You can also book tickets for wheelchair users, or transfer seats. The theatre also offers facilities for users who are deaf or blind, or have any manner of hearing or sight impairment. Please contact the theatre when booking your tickets so that they can help you during the booking process and while accessing the theatre.
Toilets are available on all floors.
Guide dogs are welcome in the auditorium, although theatre staff can also take care of them if you prefer.
Performances for On Your Feet! in the West End will be very limited. Plan your visit in advance to secure the best tickets.
Stalls: The stalls have the seats with the best view of the stage. Prices vary from £56 to £159.
Dress Circle: Prices vary from £56 to £147. The Dress Circle is on the first floor of the theatre, and it offers spectacular views of the stage.
Upper Circle: Prices vary from £56 to £22. Some seats have reduced legroom or restricted visibility.
Balcony: The highest floor, and the furthest away from the stage, but also the one that offers the most affordable prices. Prices range between £37 and £22. Some rows have reduced visibility and legroom.

Show times: performances take place from Tuesday to Sunday at 7:30pm. There are also matinee performances on Thursday and Saturday at 2:30pm, and on Sunday at 3pm. There are no performances on Mondays.
The London Coliseum is a spectacular venue, and many theatregoers make sure they get there well in advance to enjoy its unique atmosphere. The bar is open an hour and a half before the performance starts, and you will be able to go to your seats 25 minutes before the start of the show.
You can access the theatre with a water bottle and fill it up inside the venue.
How much is the cheapest ticket? Tickets start at £22.05 plus booking fee. You can find tickets at this price in two sections: the Upper Circle and the Balcony, the top floor. Many of them offer a complete view of the stage.
When does it cost the least to see the musical? Prices may change depending on the day of the week you visit the theatre in. We recommend you come on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, because prices for Friday, Saturday and Sunday performances may be higher. There are tickets at £22.05 for all performances, but more are available for the Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday performances.
The musical about Gloria and Emilio Estefan will arrive in London this summer, 2019. The première will be on 14 June, and there will be limited performances of this show until 31 August.
