Originally from North Shields, Sam Fender was spotted in 2013 at a pub by Ben Howard’s manager who then took him on as a client. He then went onto support the likes of Ben Howard and Willy Mason, as well as being regarded as one of the breakthrough artists of 2017 and was selected as one of the BBC Sound nominees of 2018.
Following the highly successful release of Hypersonic Missiles, Sam Fender has also released Dead Boys in 2018. Having taken his inspiration from writers such a George Orwell, Sam Fender is known for singing about social and political issues such as government surveillance, sexual harassment and fake news.
Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, Sam Fender was forced to reschedule his UK tour to 2021/2022 on which he will perform all of his old and new material. Considering that the government guidelines keep changing, Sam Fender could be forced to reschedule his tour again.
