Jellyfish

There is no doubt that jellyfish are one of the most fascinating creatures in the world with their translucent skin as they float through the water. Plunge yourself into the mystical jellyfish world at Sea Life Manchester.

Blacktip Reef Sharks

Sea Life Manchester is home to seven magnificent black tip sharks, which are part of Sea Life’s dedication to conserving this incredible species. Fun fact: Blacktip Reef Sharks only rest half for their brain at a time.

Cow-nose StingRays

Discover a fever (a group) of sting rays glide above you as you walk through the glass tunnel. Majestic, smiley creatures, Cow-nose rays are delightful to watch and experience up close and personal!

Sea Turtles

Cammy and Ernie are Sea Life Manchester’s friendly sea turtles who are not only beautiful creatures, but extremely fun to learn about!

Puffer-fish

There are over 120 species of puffer-fish in the world and in Sea Life Manchester, count how many you can find! The golden pufferfish is one of the most curious creatures and you can discover it right here!

• Train: if you are travelling by train, then you can easily reach Sea Life Manchester from Manchester Piccadilly. You can can take the express X50 or the 250 bus from Picadilly Gardens. 
• Car Park: you can easily park at the Barton Square Car Park which is located next to the Trafford Centre and completely free of charge. Sea Life Manchester is located off the M60 on junctions 9 or 10.  
• Bus: there are plenty buses you can take to Sea Life Manchester, including the X50, 18, 22, 23, 68, 100, 110, 126, 132, 245, 247, 250.  

Useful Information

Access

Sea Life Manchester is fully accessible and strives to be an inclusive venue. However, some areas are not, such as the VIP feeding area, is not accessible.

There are no access tickets but there are carer tickets available. 

Food and Drink

There is not a cafe at the Sea Life Manchester itself but there are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby.

Covid 19  

Sea Life Manchester has been approved with the ‘We’re Good to Go’ certificate and can safely operate during covid. Sea Life Manchester has reduced its capacity and has enhanced cleaning measures. Please book online and adhere to the government guidelines during your visit!
