Performing a special 25th anniversary set of their 1995 album Smart, Sleeper, alongside the Bluetones, are visiting most major UK cities on an exciting new tour! A co-headline tour, the Bluetones will enthrall audiences with their double platinum album Expecting To Fly as well as greatest hits from both bands.
Forming in London in 1992, Brit-pop band Sleeper, which consists of Louise Wener, Jon Stewart and Andy Maculre, have enjoyed immense success with eight UK top 40 hit singles and with their music featuring in the soundtrack on the award-winning film, Trainspotting. Rising to stardom between 1992-1998, Sleeper’s smash hit album Smart, was certified gold by BPI as it achieved sales of over 100,000 copies. While the group disbanded in 1998, they reunited in 2017, touring internationally and released a successful album in 2019, featuring lead single, “Look at You Now”.
Also forming in the infamous britpop era, the Bluetones are made up of members Mark Morriss, Adam Devlin, Scott Morris and Ed Chesters. Achieving thirteen Top 40 singles in three Top 10 albums in the UK charts, the Bluetones also released more recent albums, such as A New Athens, in May 2020.
