  • Tube: if you are taking the tube, then the London Eye is located in easy walking distance from any of these underground stations: Waterloo, Embankment, Charing Cross and Westminster.
  • Train: Waterloo and Charing Cross are the closest train stations by far. Waterloo is five minutes walking distance and Charing Cross is about a 15 minute walk away.  
  • Bus: if you are taking the bus, then buses include 211, 77 and 388.  
  • Coach: book coach parking bays in advance and please save in advance.  
  • Car: if you are travelling by car then you can enjoy 15% discount at the Q-Park Westminster car park on all pre-bookings. However, please be aware that the London Eye is in the congestion charge zone.

Access

The London Eye is fully accessible. However, please be aware that only two wheelchair users per capsule and eight wheelchairs on the wheel at one time are permitted because of restrictions.

Please book wheelchair slots in advance, as on-the-day bookings are not available. Please book online and visit the website for more information.  

You will be issued with an extra free ticket for carers, however you will have to prove this with the required documentation. Please visit the London Eye Website for more information. 

Food and Drink

You cannot bring your own food and drink onto the London Eye apart from bottled water. However, please let the London Eye know if ou require food and drink for a medical reason.

There are plenty of places to eat and drink close to the London Eye on South Bank. You can enjoy a nice bite to eat there.

Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, there are a number of new measures and restrictions in place:

  • Please pre-book tickets
  • The website is now cashless 
  • If you have symptoms, do not travel 
  • Please wear a face mask  

The London Eye has also reduced its capacity and enhanced its cleaning measures. Temperature checks will take place on entering the attraction.

How do I get to the London Eye?

You can easily access the London Eye via tube. It is close to the stations Waterloo, Embankment, Charing Cross and Westminster. IF you are travelling by train, then Waterloo and Charing Cross are the nearest stations. For those wanting to travel by car, you can use 20% discount at the Westminster Q Car Park.  

Do you have wifi facilities?
