If you have a travel card, it will be useful to stay in the vicinity of the stops of line 3 (Chamartín, Nuevos Ministerios, Sol, Atocha). If you are going to take the bus, perhaps the best option is to stay next to the Villaverde Bajo commuter stop.
Summer in Madrid is extremely hot and can reach temperatures of up to 40°! While the weather is in the low to mid twenties during September and the beginning of October, the temperature suddenly drops in November and in the bitterly cold December, January and February, it can be as cold as 3°. However, it heats up again in spring; it is normally about 12° in April then increases to 21° in May. Although Madrid is on the whole a bright and dry city, there can be some rainfall during the Autumn and Spring so pack your raincoat if you are visiting then!
Visiting Madrid in the sizzling summer months? Then why not cool off in the most fun way at Warner Beach! You can either access Warner Beach with a combined ticket with the amusement park and go to both the same day, or you can purchase a ticket just for the water park.
